For the area consisting of Belgium, Netherlands, Ireland, UK and Scandinavia, and on behalf of Tradecorp we are looking for a:
Sales Director (m/f)
Your main tasks and responsibilities
In this challenging position:
- You will supervise and lead an international team of 4-6 sales persons.
- You will take over existing business in Belgium/Netherlands/Ireland that you will further develop. UK is a market with a large potential to be considered as a priority to develop. Scandinavia to be seen as a market that still needs to be addressed.
- You will be in charge of managing, dealing with and developing Key Accounts (distribution, cooperatives), with strong and demanding business partners.
- You will report directly to the Commercial Manager Western & Eastern Europe.
- The position is home office based anywhere in Belgium, the Netherlands or the UK, with regular visits to the company’s office in Belgium.
- You have at least a first management experience of a small team. Indeed skills and experience in commercial management are keys to success in this position.
- Ideally, you are a professional from the Agribusiness, although someone coming from another sector/business is not excluded.
- A good knowledge of the agriculture distribution sector in Belgium, the Netherlands and/or the UK would be highly appreciated.
- Experience in the sales of specialty and innovative products would be a plus.
- Languages: fluent English + ideally two other languages (French, Dutch / Flemish)
- Higher agricultural education is no must but could be an advantage.
- It is important that you have the capacity to acquire the necessary technical background, understand the specificity, added value and benefits of the company’s products.
- You have a strong personality to be able to deal as a peer with Key Account partners.
- An international vision/openness is also important.
- You have a valid driving licence
