Certis Belchim offers besides conventional crop protection products also integrated crop protection solutions, which support their customers to grow healthy crops and has the ambition to grow in biological crop protection. The Global Registration Team coordinates and manages product registrations in partnership with suppliers and handles EU registration activities. The maintenance of existing registrations and the establishment of direct relationships with key registration officials are equally important. Each of the Certis Belchim branches has qualified regulatory staff and capability to register products on a national basis. In order to support its fast growth and achieve its ambitious expansion plans in biological crop protection, Certis Belchim is looking for a Manager Regulatory Affairs (M/F). AFL Executive Search will assist Certis Belchim in this search, the goal being that the new Regulatory Specialist enters the company as soon as possible.

Job specification of Manager Regulatory Affairs Crop Protection | Agrochemicals

In this challenging role, as part of the Global Regulatory Dossier and Science Group, you will be managing a team of Regulatory Affairs Specialists/Officers. You will lead, motivate & develop your team and are responsible for their daily follow-up. Together with your team you will define the regulatory strategy and plan for your teams portfolio of projects.

Besides the team management role you will also be responsible to lead autonomously long-term registration projects and provide regulatory expertise to senior leaders (Regulatory Management Team) mainly in Europe but also in dedicated territories where Certis Belchim is developing its assets. Within this responsibility you will proactively create, coordinate & deliver all aspects of the registration of Certis Belchim own active ingredients & products. Further you evaluate the registrability of your projects, evaluate budget needs and propose a submission strategy (including future challenges and opportunities) to your management and business partners.

Within this unique role you will be able to combine & develop both team management skills and technical regulatory skills including regulatory expertise. You will report to the Head of Global Regulatory Dossier Management & Science.

Your profile for this role as Manager Regulatory Affairs Crop Protection | Agrochemicals?

  • You obtained a Master’s degree with specialization in agriculture, biology, chemistry or equivalent discipline.
  • This role requires at least 10 years of relevant experience in a registration environment of plant protection products.
  • Experience or ability to grow in leading and managing a team is mandatory.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management is a must.
  • You are well organized and have strong planning skills.
  • You are a good team player and can achieve results by working together.
  • Strong analytical mindset to make interpretation of study data.
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • You are able to travel 10-15% of your time in Europe.
