Our customer, with headquarters in the North of France, is an international player in the veterinary pharmaceutical market with products ranging from antibiotics, vitamins and chemotherapeutics for large animals.

The present Area Sales Manager is retiring by the end of June and for this purpose we are recruiting a:

Area Sales Manager

• In this position you will become responsible for the commercial activities in North Africa and Asia;
• You will actively develop the distributor network in your region in order to reach the defined sales and margin targets;
• You will represent the company, train and support the local distributors and visit the most important key accounts;
• You will work in close cooperation with the marketing, technical services and regulatory department from the Head Office;
• You report directly to the General Manager;

• You have a good know-how of the veterinary business in pigs, cattle and poultry, and beyond everything a real charisma in sales and distributor management;
• You have at least 3 years of valuable professional experience, ideally in a similar commercial position in the veterinary pharmaceutical sector;
• You are an excellent networker, take initiative easily and you work autonomously;
• You are trustful, sincere and honest and able to represent the quality image of the company.
• You have good negotiation, analyzing and strategic planning skills and you are familiar with preparing export documents;
• You live in the north western part of France or in the south western part of Belgium;
• You are willing to travel (30%);
